David Woolcott has been a highGuelph personal injury lawly regarded member of Guelph’s legal community for many years.  He practices primarily in the areas of personal injury law, motor vehicle accidents, and disability benefits.  David also practices in the areas of family law, employment law, and estates litigation.

As Guelph’s leading personal injury lawyer with Woolcott Krashinsky, David has extensive experience in both arbitration and litigation.  He has appeared across Ontario in small claims court, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Superior Court of Justice.  David works frequently with mediators and in negotiation to resolve matters outside of court and obtain favourable settlements for his clients.

David is a member of the Wellington Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.  David is an active member of the Guelph community, and was previously the president of the Board of Directors for Wyndham House.  David resides in Guelph with his wife and two children.



JonathGuelph family lawan Krashinsky grew up in Toronto, but has called Guelph home for the last ten years.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Queen’s University in 1999 and his LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 2005.  He was called to the bar in 2006.  Jonathan practices primarily in the areas of family law and child protection law.  He also maintains a practice in the areas of criminal law, employment law, and wills and estates at Woolcott Krashinsky.

Jonathan has been representing clients in courts across Ontario since he was called, and has appeared in both the Ontario and the Superior Court of Justice representing clients on motions, trials, and appeal work.  He has extensive trial experience in both the Ontario Court and the Superior Court, and a proven track record of results in contested matters.

Jonathan is also a skilled negotiator, and has appeared before mediators and arbitrators on behalf of clients who prefer an out-of-court process.  As a lawyer trained in collaborative family law, he is a member of the Speed River Collaborative Association in Guelph, which maintains a network of lawyers and professionals who work cooperatively to resolve family law disputes.

Jonathan is a member of the Wellington Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association.  In his spare time, Jonathan is an avid marathon runner, who is proud to have recently qualified for the Boston Marathon.  He enjoys skiing, cycling, and cooking, and resides in downtown Guelph.


Woolcott KrashinskyVicki Newby is our firm’s Senior Law Clerk. Vicki has worked in litigation for more than 15 years, and has worked as a law clerk in Ontario since 2005. Prior to joining the office in Guelph, Vicki worked in Montreal managing a law firm that practiced in the areas of civil litigation, family, wills and estates. She has extensive experience in litigation including civil litigation, family and personal injury. Vicki is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks for Ontario and completed all four courses offered by the Institute in 2005 at Conestoga College.

Kelly Oliver is our firm’s family law clerk. Kelly has worked with our office since 2001. Since graduating from the Legal Office Administration program from Georgian College and earning the County of Simcoe Law Association Graduate Award in 2001, she has specialized in family law litigation. She has experience in most areas of family law, including custody and access, separation, divorce, and children’s aid society defence.

Amber Erwin is our Accident Benefits Clerk. Amber has worked with our office since 2005. She graduated from the University of Guelph in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. She is experienced in overseeing all accident benefit claims within our firm, under the supervision of David Woolcott. In addition, she assists clients in applying for benefits, communicating with insurers, disputing denials of claims by applying and preparing for Mediation and Arbitration proceedings, and managing ongoing treatment and expenses related to Woolcott Krashinsky clients’ motor vehicle accidents.

Tracy Treloar is our firm’s general clerk, and has worked with the office since 2015. Tracy is one of our part-time staff and assists both David and Jonathan with their personal injury and family files.
